| 4 But you who held fast to the LORD your God are all alive today. | 4 എന്നാൽ നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയോടു പറ്റിച്ചേർന്നിരുന്ന നിങ്ങൾ ഒക്കെയും ഇന്നു ജീവനോടിരിക്കുന്നു. | 4 परन्तु तुम जो अपके परमेश्वर यहोवा के साय लिपके रहे हो सब के सब आज तक जीवित हो। |
| 5 See, I have taught you statutes and rules, as the LORD my God commanded me, that you should do them in the land that you are entering to take possession of it. | 5 നിങ്ങൾ കൈവശമാക്കുവാൻ ചെല്ലുന്ന ദേശത്തു നിങ്ങൾ അനുസരിച്ചു നടപ്പാനായി എന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ എന്നോടു കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു ചട്ടങ്ങളും വിധികളും ഉപദേശിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. | 5 सुनो, मैं ने तो अपके परमेश्वर यहोवा की आज्ञा के अनुसार तुम्हें विधि और नियम सिखाए हैं, कि जिस देश के अधिक्कारनेी होने जाते हो उस में तुम उनके अनुसार चलो। |

| 7 For what great nation is there that has a god so near to it as the LORD our God is to us, whenever we call upon him? | 7 നമ്മുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയോടു നാം വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിക്കുമ്പോഴൊക്കെയും അവൻ നമുക്കു അടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ ദൈവം ഇത്ര അടുത്തിരിക്കുന്ന ശ്രേഷ്ഠജാതി ഏതുള്ളു? | 7 देखो, कौन ऐसी बड़ी जाति है जिसका देवता उसके ऐसे समीप रहता हो जैसा हमारा परमेश्वर यहोवा, जब कि हम उस को पुकारते हैं? |

| 9 "Only take care, and keep your soul diligently, lest you forget the things that your eyes have seen, and lest they depart from your heart all the days of your life. | 12 Then the LORD spoke to you out of the midst of the fire. | 14 And the LORD commanded me at that time to teach you statutes and rules, that you might do them in the land that you are going over to possess. | 14 നിങ്ങൾ കൈവശമാക്കുവാൻ കടന്നുചെല്ലുന്ന ദേശത്തു നിങ്ങൾ അനുസരിച്ചുനടക്കേണ്ടുന്നതിന്നുള്ള ചട്ടങ്ങളും വിധികളും നിങ്ങളെ ഉപദേശിക്കേണമെന്നു യഹോവ അക്കാലത്തു എന്നോടു കല്പിച്ചു. | 14 और मुझ को यहोवा ने उसी समय तुम्हें विधि और नियम सिखाने की आज्ञा दी, इसलिथे कि जिस देश के अधिक्कारनेी होने को तुम पार जाने पर हो उस में तुम उनको माना करो। |
| 15 "Therefore watch yourselves very carefully. Since you saw no form on the day that the LORD spoke to you at Horeb out of the midst of the fire, | 15 നിങ്ങൾ നന്നായി സൂക്ഷിച്ചുകൊൾവിൻ; യഹോവ ഹോരേബിൽ തീയുടെ നടുവിൽ നിന്നു നിങ്ങളോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്ത നാളിൽ നിങ്ങൾ രൂപം ഒന്നും കണ്ടില്ലല്ലോ. | 15 इसलिथे तुम अपके विषय में बहुत सावधान रहना। क्योंकि जब यहोवा ने तुम से होरेब पर्वत पर आग के बीच में से बातें की तब तुम को कोई रूप न देख पड़ा, |

| 19 And beware lest you raise your eyes to heaven, and when you see the sun and the moon and the stars, all the host of heaven, you be drawn away and bow down to them and serve them, things that the LORD your God has allotted to all the peoples under the whole heaven. | 19 നീ ആകാശസൈന്യമായ സൂര്യനെയും ചന്ദ്രനെയും നക്ഷത്രങ്ങളെയും നോക്കിക്കാണുമ്പോൾ അവയെ നമസ്കരിപ്പാനും സേവിപ്പാനും വശീകരിക്കപ്പെടരുതു; അവയെ നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ആകാശത്തിൻ കീഴെങ്ങുമുള്ള സർവ്വജാതികൾക്കും പങ്കിട്ടു കൊടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു. | 19 वा जब तुम आकाश की ओर आंखे उठाकर, सूर्य, चंद्रमा, और तारोंको, अर्यात् आकाश का सारा तारागण देखो, तब बहककर उन्हें दण्डवत् करके उनकी सेवा करने लगो जिनको तुम्हारे परमेश्वर यहोवा ने धरती पर के सब देशवालोंके लिथे रखा है। |
| 20 But the LORD has taken you and brought you out of the iron furnace, out of Egypt, to be a people of his own inheritance, as you are this day. | 20 നിങ്ങളെയോ ഇന്നുള്ളതുപോലെ തനിക്കു അവകാശ ജനമായിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു യഹോവ തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തു നിങ്ങളെ മിസ്രയീം എന്ന ഇരിമ്പുലയിൽ നിന്നു പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ചു കൊണ്ടുവന്നിരിക്കുന്നു. | 20 और तुम को यहोवा लोहे के भट्ठे के सरीखे मिस्र देश से निकाल ले आया है, इसलिथे कि तुम उसकी प्रजारूपी निज भाग ठहरो, जैसा आज प्रगट है। |

| 22 For I must die in this land; I must not go over the Jordan. But you shall go over and take possession of that good land. | 22 ആകയാൽ ഞാൻ യോർദ്ദാൻ കടക്കാതെ ഈ ദേശത്തുവെച്ചു മരിക്കും; നിങ്ങളോ കടന്നു ചെന്നു ആ നല്ലദേശം കൈവശമാക്കും. | 22 किन्तु मुझे इसी देश में मरना है, मैं तो यरदन पार नहीं जा सकता; परन्तु तुम पार जाकर उस उत्तम देश के अधिक्कारनेी हो जाओगे। |
| 23 Take care, lest you forget the covenant of the LORD your God, which he made with you, and make a carved image, the form of anything that the LORD your God has forbidden you. | 23 നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ നിങ്ങളോടു ചെയ്തിട്ടുള്ള അവന്റെ നിയമം നിങ്ങൾ മറന്നു നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ വിരോധിച്ചതുപോലെ യാതൊന്നിന്റെയും സാദൃശ്യമായ വിഗ്രഹം ഉണ്ടാക്കാതിരിപ്പാൻ സൂക്ഷിച്ചുകൊൾവിൻ. | 23 इसलिथे अपके विषय में तुम सावधान रहो, कहीं ऐसा न हो कि तुम उस वाचा को भूलकर, जो तुम्हारे परमेश्वर यहोवा ने तुम से बान्धी है, किसी और वस्तु की मूत्तिर् खोदकर बनाओ, जिसे तुम्हारे परमेश्वर यहोवा ने तुम को मना किया है। |
| 24 For the LORD your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God. | 24 നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ദഹിപ്പിക്കുന്ന അഗ്നിയല്ലോ; തീക്ഷ്ണതയുള്ള ദൈവം തന്നേ. | 24 क्योंकि तुम्हारा परमेश्वर यहोवा भस्म करनेवाली आग है; वह जल उठनेवाला परमेश्वर है।। |
| 25 "When you father children and children's children, and have grown old in the land, if you act corruptly by making a carved image in the form of anything, and by doing what is evil in the sight of the LORD your God, so as to provoke him to anger, | 25 നീ മക്കളെയും മക്കളുടെ മക്കളെയും ജനിപ്പിച്ചു ദേശത്തു ഏറെക്കാലം പാർത്തു വഷളായിത്തീർന്നിട്ടു വല്ലതിന്റെയും സാദൃശ്യമായ വിഗ്രഹം ഉണ്ടാക്കി നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവെക്കു അനിഷ്ടമായുള്ളതു ചെയ്തു അവനെ കോപിപ്പിച്ചാൽ | 25 यदि उस देश में रहते रहते बहुत दिन बीत जाने पर, और अपके बेटे-पोते उत्पन्न होने पर, तुम बिगड़कर किसी वस्तु के रूप की मूतिर् खोदकर बनाओ, और इस रीति से अपके परमेश्वर यहोवा के प्रति बुराई करके उसे अप्रसन्न कर दो, |
| 26 I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that you will soon utterly perish from the land that you are going over the Jordan to possess. | 27 And the LORD will scatter you among the peoples, and you will be left few in number among the nations where the LORD will drive you. | 27 യഹോവ നിങ്ങളെ ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയിൽ ചിതറിക്കും; യഹോവ നിങ്ങളെ കൊണ്ടുപോയാക്കുന്ന ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയിൽ നിങ്ങൾ ചുരുക്കംപേരായി ശേഷിക്കും. | 27 और यहोवा तुम को देश देश के लोगोंमें तितर बितर करेगा, और जिन जातियोंके बीच यहोवा तुम को पहुंचाएगा उन में तुम योड़े ही से रह जाओगे। |
| 28 And there you will serve gods of wood and stone, the work of human hands, that neither see, nor hear, nor eat, nor smell. | 28 കാണ്മാനും കേൾപ്പാനും ഭക്ഷിപ്പാനും മണക്കുവാനും പ്രാപ്തിയില്ലാത്തവയായി മരവും കല്ലുംകൊണ്ടു മനുഷ്യരുടെ കൈപ്പണിയായ ദേവന്മാരെ നിങ്ങൾ അവിടെ സേവിക്കും. | 28 और वहां तुम मनुष्य के बनाए हुए लकड़ी और पत्यर के देवताओं की सेवा करोगे, जो न देखते, और न सुनते, और न खाते, और न सूंघते हैं। |

| 31 For the LORD your God is a merciful God. | 35 To you it was shown, that you might know that the LORD is God; there is no other besides him. | 35 നിനക്കോ ഇതു കാണ്മാൻ സംഗതിവന്നു; യഹോവ തന്നേ ദൈവം, അവനല്ലാതെ മറ്റൊരുത്തനുമില്ല എന്നു നീ അറിയേണ്ടതിന്നു തന്നേ. | 35 यह सब तुझ को दिखाया गया, इसलिथे कि तू जान रखे कि यहोवा ही परमेश्वर है; उसको छोड़ और कोई है ही नहीं। |
| 36 Out of heaven he let you hear his voice, that he might discipline you.
