| 3 Not with our fathers did the LORD make this covenant, but with us, who are all of us here alive today. | 3 ഈ നിയമം യഹോവ നമ്മുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരോടല്ല, നമ്മോടു, ഇന്നു ഇവിടെ ജീവനോടിരിക്കുന്ന നമ്മോടു ഒക്കെയും തന്നേ ചെയ്തതു. | 3 इस वाचा को यहोवा ने हमारे पितरोंसे नहीं, हम ही से बान्धा, जो यहां आज के दिन जीवित हैं। |
| 4 The LORD spoke with you face to face at the mountain, out of the midst of the fire, | 4 യഹോവ പർവ്വതത്തിൽ തീയുടെ നടുവിൽനിന്നു നിങ്ങളോടു അഭിമുഖമായി അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു. | 4 यहोवा ने उस पर्वत पर आग के बीच में से तुम लोगोंसे आम्हने साम्हने बातें की; |
| 5 while I stood between the LORD and you at that time, to declare to you the word of the LORD. For you were afraid because of the fire, and you did not go up into the mountain. | 13 Six days you shall labor and do all your work, | 13 ആറുദിവസം അദ്ധ്വാനിച്ചു നിന്റെ വേല ഒക്കെയും ചെയ്ക. | 13 छ: दिन तो परिश्र्म करके अपना सारा कामकाज करना; |
| 14 but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the LORD your God. | 15 You shall remember that you were a slave in the land of Egypt, and the LORD your God brought you out from there with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm. | 16 "'Honor your father and your mother, as the LORD your God commanded you, that your days may be long, and that it may go well with you in the land that the LORD your God is giving you. | 16 നിനക്കു ദീർഘായുസ്സു ഉണ്ടാകുവാനും നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ നിനക്കു തരുന്ന ദേശത്തു നിനക്കു നന്നായിരിപ്പാനും നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ നിന്നോടു കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ നിന്റെ അപ്പനെയും അമ്മയെയും ബഹുമാനിക്ക. | 16 अपके पिता और अपक्की माता का आदर करना, जैसे कि तेरे परमेश्वर यहोवा ने तुझे आज्ञा दी है; जिस से जो देश तेरा परमेश्वर यहोवा तुझे देता है उस में तू बहुत दिन तक रहते पाए, और तेरा भला हो।। |
| 17 "'You shall not murder. | 17 കൊല ചെയ്യരുതു. | 17 तू हत्या न करना।। |
| 18 "'And you shall not commit adultery. | 18 വ്യഭിചാരം ചെയ്യരുതു. | 18 तू व्यभिचार न करना।। |
| 19 "'And you shall not steal. | 19 മോഷ്ടിക്കരുതു. | 19 तू चोरी न करना।। |
| 20 "'And you shall not bear false witness against your neighbor. | 20 കൂട്ടുകാരന്റെ നേരെ കള്ളസ്സാക്ഷ്യം പറയരുതു. | 20 तू किसी के विरूद्ध फूठी साझी न देना।। |
| 21 "'And you shall not covet your neighbor's wife. And you shall not desire your neighbor's house, his field, or his male servant, or his female servant, his ox, or his donkey, or anything that is your neighbor's.' | 21 കൂട്ടുകാരന്റെ ഭാര്യയെ മോഹിക്കരുതു; കൂട്ടുകാരന്റെ ഭവനത്തെയും നിലത്തെയും അവന്റെ വേലക്കാരനെയും വേലക്കാരത്തിയെയും അവന്റെ കാളയെയും കഴുതയെയും കൂട്ടുകാരന്നുള്ള യാതൊന്നിനെയും മോഹിക്കരുതു. | 21 तू न किसी की पत्नी का लालच करना, और न किसी के घर का लालच करना, न उसके खेत का, न उसके दास का, न उसकी दासी का, न उसके बैल वा गदहे का, न उसकी किसी और वस्तु का लालच करना।। |
| 22 "These words the LORD spoke to all your assembly at the mountain out of the midst of the fire, the cloud, and the thick darkness, with a loud voice; and he added no more. And he wrote them on two tablets of stone and gave them to me. | 22 ഈ വചനങ്ങൾ യഹോവ പർവ്വതത്തിൽ തീ, മേഘം, അന്ധകാരം എന്നിവയുടെ നടുവിൽനിന്നു നിങ്ങളുടെ സർവ്വസഭയോടും അത്യുച്ചത്തിൽ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു; ഇതിന്നപ്പുറം ഒന്നും കല്പിച്ചില്ല; അവ രണ്ടു കല്പലകയിൽ എഴുതി എന്റെ പക്കൽ തന്നു. | 22 यही वचन यहोवा ने उस पर्वत पर आग, और बादल, और घोर अन्धकार के बीच में से तुम्हारी सारी मण्डली से पुकारकर कहा; और इस से अधिक और कुछ न कहा। और उन्हें उस ने पत्यर की दो पटियाओं पर लिखकर मुझे दे दिया। |

| 24 And you said, 'Behold, the LORD our God has shown us his glory and greatness, and we have heard his voice out of the midst of the fire. | 25 Now therefore why should we die? For this great fire will consume us. If we hear the voice of the LORD our God any more, we shall die. | 25 ആകയാൽ ഞങ്ങൾ എന്തിന്നു മരിക്കുന്നു? ഈ മഹത്തായ തീക്കു ഞങ്ങൾ ഇരയായ്തീരും; ഞങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ ശബ്ദം ഇനിയും കേട്ടാൽ ഞങ്ങൾ മരിച്ചുപോകും. | 25 अब हम क्योंमर जाएं? क्योंकि ऐसी बड़ी आग से हम भस्म हो जाएंगे; और यदि हम अपके परमेश्वर यहोवा का शब्द फिर सुनें, तब तो मर ही जाएंगे। |
| 26 For who is there of all flesh, that has heard the voice of the living God speaking out of the midst of fire as we have, and has still lived? | 26 ഞങ്ങളെപ്പോലെ യാതൊരു ജഡമെങ്കിലും തീയുടെ നടുവിൽനിന്നു സംസാരിക്കുന്ന ജീവനുള്ള ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ശബ്ദം കേട്ടിട്ടു ജീവനോടെ ഇരുന്നിട്ടുണ്ടോ? | 26 क्योंकि सारे प्राणियोंमें से कौन ऐसा है जो हमारी नाई जीवित और अग्नि के बीच में से बोलते हुए परमेश्वर का शब्द सुनकर जीवित बचा रहे? |
| 27 Go near and hear all that the LORD our God will say and speak to us all that the LORD our God will speak to you, and we will hear and do it.' | 27 നീ അടുത്തുചെന്നു നമ്മുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നതു ഒക്കെയും കേൾക്ക; നമ്മുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ നിന്നോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നതു ഒക്കെയും ഞങ്ങളോടു പറക: ഞങ്ങൾ കേട്ടു അനുസരിച്ചുകൊള്ളാം. | 27 इसलिथे तू समीप जा, और जो कुछ हमारा परमेश्वर यहोवा कहे उसे सुन ले; फिर जो कुछ हमारा परमेश्वर यहोवा कहे उसे हम से कहना; और हम उसे सुनेंगे और उसे मानेंगे। |
| 28 "And the LORD heard your words, when you spoke to me. And the LORD said to me, 'I have heard the words of this people, which they have spoken to you. They are right in all that they have spoken. | 28 നിങ്ങൾ എന്നോടു സംസാരിച്ച വാക്കുകൾ യഹോവ കേട്ടു എന്നോടു കല്പിച്ചതു: ഈ ജനം നിന്നോടു പറഞ്ഞവാക്കു ഞാൻ കേട്ടു; അവർ പറഞ്ഞതു ഒക്കെയും നല്ലതു. | 28 जब तुम मुझ से थे बातें कह रहे थे तब यहोवा ने तुम्हारी बातें सुनीं; तब उस ने मुझ से कहा, कि इन लोगोंने जो जो बातें तुझ से कही हैं मैं ने सुनी हैं; इन्होंने जो कुछ कहा वह ठीक ही कहा। |
| 29 Oh that they had such a mind as this always, to fear me and to keep all my commandments, that it might go well with them and with their descendants forever! | 29 അവർക്കും അവരുടെ മക്കൾക്കും എന്നേക്കും നന്നായിരിപ്പാൻ അവർ എന്നെ ഭയപ്പെടേണ്ടതിന്നും എന്റെ കല്പനകളൊക്കെയും പ്രമാണിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നും ഇങ്ങനെയുള്ള ഹൃദയം അവർക്കു എപ്പോഴും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നുവെങ്കിൽ എത്ര നന്നു. | 29 भला होता कि उनका मन सदैव ऐसा ही बना रहे, कि वे मेरा भय मानते हुए मेरी सब आज्ञाओं पर चलते रहें, जिस से उनकी और उनके वंश की सदैव भलाई होती रहे! |
| 30 Go and say to them, "Return to your tents." | 30 നിങ്ങളുടെ കൂടാരങ്ങളിലേക്കു മടങ്ങിപ്പോകുവിൻ എന്നു അവരോടു ചെന്നു പറക. | 30 इसलिथे तू जाकर उन से कह दे, कि अपके अपके डेरोंको लौट जाओ। |
| 31 But you, stand here by me, and I will tell you the whole commandment and the statutes and the rules that you shall teach them, that they may do them in the land that I am giving them to possess.' | 31 നീയോ ഇവിടെ എന്റെ അടുക്കൽ നിൽക്ക; ഞാൻ അവർക്കു അവകാശമായി കൊടുക്കുന്ന ദേശത്തു അവർ അനുസരിച്ചു നടപ്പാൻ നീ അവരെ ഉപദേശിക്കേണ്ടുന്ന സകലകല്പനകളും ചട്ടങ്ങളും വിധികളും ഞാൻ നിന്നോടു കല്പിക്കും. | 31 परन्तु तू यहीं मेरे पास खड़ा रह, और मैं वे सारी आज्ञाएं और विधियां और नियम जिन्हें तुझे उनको सिखाना होगा तुझ से कहूंगा, जिस से वे उन्हें उस देश में जिसका अधिक्कारने मैं उन्हें देने पर हूं मानें। |
| 32 You shall be careful therefore to do as the LORD your God has commanded you. You shall not turn aside to the right hand or to the left. | 32 ആകയാൽ നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ നിങ്ങളോടു കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ ചെയ്‍വാൻ ജാഗ്രതയായിരിപ്പിൻ; ഇടത്തോട്ടെങ്കിലും വലത്തോട്ടെങ്കിലും മാറരുതു. | 32 इसलिथे तुम अपके परमेश्वर यहोवा की आज्ञा के अनुसार करने में चौकसी करना; न तो दहिने मुड़ना और न बांए। |
| 33 You shall walk in all the way that the LORD your God has commanded you, that you may live, and that it may go well with you, and that you may live long in the land that you shall possess. | 33 നിങ്ങൾ ജീവിച്ചിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നും നിങ്ങൾക്കു നന്നായിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നും നിങ്ങൾ കൈവശമാക്കുന്ന ദേശത്തു ദീർഘായുസ്സോടിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നും നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ നിങ്ങളോടു കല്പിച്ചിട്ടുള്ള എല്ലാവഴിയിലും നടന്നുകൊൾവിൻ. | 33 जिस मार्ग में चलने की आज्ञा तुम्हारे परमेश्वर यहोवा ने तुम को दी है उस सारे मार्ग पर चलते रहो, कि तुम जीवित रहो, और तुम्हारा भला हो, और जिस देश के तुम अधिक्कारनेी होगे उस में तुम बहुत दिनोंके लिथे बने रहो।। |
