| 1 Therefore we must pay much closer attention to what we have heard, lest we drift away from it. | 1 അതുകൊണ്ടു നാം വല്ലപ്പോഴും ഒഴുകിപ്പോകാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു കേട്ടതു അധികം ശ്രദ്ധയോടെ കരുതിക്കൊൾവാൻ ആവശ്യമാകുന്നു. | 1 इस कारण चाहिए, कि हम उन बातोंपर जो हम ने सुनी हैं और भी मन लगाएं, ऐसा न हो कि बहकर उन से दूर चले जाएं। |
| 2 For since the message declared by angels proved to be reliable and every transgression or disobedience received a just retribution, | 2 ദൂതന്മാർമുഖാന്തരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്ത വചനം സ്ഥിരമായിരിക്കയും ഓരോരോ ലംഘനത്തിന്നും അനുസരണക്കേടിന്നും ന്യായമായ പ്രതിഫലം ലഭിക്കയും ചെയ്തു എങ്കിൽ | 2 क्योंकि जो वचन स्वर्गदूतोंके द्वारा कहा गया या जब वह स्यिर रहा ओर हर एक अपराध और आज्ञा न मानने का ठीक ठीक बदला मिला। |
| 3 how shall we escape if we neglect such a great salvation? It was declared at first by the Lord, and it was attested to us by those who heard, | 3 കർത്താവു താൻ പറഞ്ഞുതുടങ്ങിയതും ദൈവം അടയാളങ്ങളാലും അത്ഭുതങ്ങളാലും വിവിധവീര്യപ്രവൃത്തികളാലും തന്റെ ഇഷ്ടപ്രകാരം പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവിനെ നല്കിക്കൊണ്ടും സാക്ഷി നിന്നതും കേട്ടവർ | 3 तो हम लोग ऐसे बड़े उद्धार से निश्चिन्त रहकर क्योंकर बच सकते हैं जिस की चर्चा पहिले पहिल प्रभु के द्वारा हुई, और सुननेवालोंके द्वारा हमें निश्चय हुआ। |
| 4 while God also bore witness by signs and wonders and various miracles and by gifts of the Holy Spirit distributed according to his will. | 4 നമുക്കു ഉറപ്പിച്ചുതന്നതുമായ ഇത്ര വലിയ രക്ഷ നാം ഗണ്യമാക്കാതെ പോയാൽ എങ്ങനെ തെറ്റി ഒഴിയും? | 4 और साय ही परमेश्वर भी अपक्की इच्छा के अनुसार चिन्हों, और अद्भुत कामों, और नाना प्रकार के सामर्य के कामों, और पवित्र आत्क़ा के वरदानोंके बांटने के द्वारा इस की गवाही देता रहा।। |
| 5 Now it was not to angels that God subjected the world to come, of which we are speaking. | 5 നാം പ്രസ്താവിക്കുന്ന ഭാവിലോകത്തെ അവൻ ദൂതന്മാർക്കല്ലല്ലോ കീഴ്പെടുത്തിയതു. | 5 उस ने उस आनेवाले जगत को जिस की चर्चा हम कर रहे हैं, स्वर्गदूतोंके आधीन न किया। |
| 6 It has been testified somewhere, "What is man, that you are mindful of him, or the son of man, that you care for him? | 6 എന്നാൽ “മനുഷ്യനെ നീ ഓർക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവൻ എന്തു? മനുഷ്യപുത്രനെ സന്ദർശിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവൻ എന്തുമാത്രം? | 6 बरन किसी ने कहीं, यह गवाही दी है, कि मनुष्य क्या हैं, कि तू उस की सुधि लेता है या मनुष्य का पुत्र क्या है, कि तू उस पर दृष्टि करता है |
| 7 You made him for a little while lower than the angels; you have crowned him with glory and honor, | 7 നീ അവനെ ദൂതന്മാരെക്കാൾ അല്പം മാത്രം താഴ്ത്തി; തേജസ്സും ബഹുമാനവും അവനെ അണിയിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; നിന്റെ കൈകളുടെ പ്രവൃത്തികൾക്കു നീ അവനെ അധിപതി ആക്കി, | 7 तू ने उसे स्वर्गदूतोंसे कुछ ही कम किया; तू ने उस पर महिमा और आदर का मुकुट रखा और उसे अपके हाथोंके कामोंपर अधिक्कारने दिया। |
| 8 putting everything in subjection under his feet."Now in putting everything in subjection to him, he left nothing outside his control. At present, we do not yet see everything in subjection to him. | 8 സകലവും അവന്റെ കാൽക്കീഴാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു” എന്നു ഒരുവൻ ഒരേടത്തു സാക്ഷ്യം പറയുന്നു. സകലവും അവന്നു കീഴാക്കിയതിൽ ഒന്നിനെയും കീഴ്പെടുത്താതെ വിട്ടിട്ടില്ല; എന്നാൽ ഇപ്പോൾ സകലവും അവന്നു കീഴ്പെട്ടതായി കാണുന്നില്ല. | 8 तू ने सब कुछ उसके पांवोंके नीचे कर दिया: इसलिथे जब कि उस ने सब कुछ उसके आधीन कर दिया, तो उस ने कुछ भी रख न छोड़ा, जो उसके आधीन न हो : पर हम अब तक सब कुछ उसके आधीन नहीं देखते। |
| 9 But we see him who for a little while was made lower than the angels, namely Jesus, crowned with glory and honor because of the suffering of death, so that by the grace of God he might taste death for everyone. | 9 എങ്കിലും ദൈവകൃപയാൽ എല്ലാവർക്കും വേണ്ടി മരണം ആസ്വദിപ്പാൻ ദൂതന്മാരിലും അല്പം ഒരു താഴ്ചവന്നവനായ യേശു മരണം അനുഭവിച്ചതുകൊണ്ടു അവനെ മഹത്വവും ബഹുമാനവും അണിഞ്ഞവനായി നാം കാണുന്നു. | 9 पर हम को यीशु जो स्वर्गदूतोंसे कुछ ही कम किया गया या, मृत्यु का दुख उठाने के कारण महिमा और आदर का मुकुट पहिने हुए देखते हैं; ताकि परमेश्वर के अनुग्रह से हर एक मनुष्य के लिथे मृत्यु का स्वाद चखे। |
| 10 For it was fitting that he, for whom and by whom all things exist, in bringing many sons to glory, should make the founder of their salvation perfect through suffering. | 10 സകലത്തിന്നും ലാക്കും സകലത്തിന്നും കാരണഭൂതനുമായവൻ അനേകം പുത്രന്മാരെ തേജസ്സിലേക്കു നടത്തുമ്പോൾ അവരുടെ രക്ഷാനായകനെ കഷ്ടാനുഭവങ്ങളാൽ തികഞ്ഞവനാക്കുന്നതു യുക്തം ആയിരുന്നു. | 10 क्योंकि जिस के लिथे सब कुछ है, और जिस के द्वारा सब कुछ है, उसे यही अच्छा लगा कि जब वह बहुत से पुत्रोंको महिमा में पहुंचाए, तो उन के उद्धार के कर्ता को दुख उठाने के द्वारा सिद्ध करे। |
| 11 For he who sanctifies and those who are sanctified all have one origin. That is why he is not ashamed to call them brothers, | 11 വിശുദ്ധീകരിക്കുന്നവന്നും വിശുദ്ധീകരിക്കപ്പെടുന്നവർക്കും എല്ലാം ഒരുവനല്ലോ പിതാവു; അതു ഹേതുവായി അവൻ അവരെ സഹോദരന്മാർ എന്നു വിളിപ്പാൻ ലജ്ജിക്കാതെ: | 11 क्योंकि पवित्र करनेवाला और जो पवित्र किए जाते हैं, सब एक ही मूल से हैं: इसी कारण वह उन्हें भाई कहने से नहीं लजाता। |
| 12 saying, "I will tell of your name to my brothers; in the midst of the congregation I will sing your praise." | 12 “ഞാൻ നിന്റെ നാമത്തെ എന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരോടു കീർത്തിക്കും; സഭാമദ്ധ്യേ ഞാൻ നിന്നെ സ്തുതിക്കും” | 12 पर कहता है, कि मैं तेरा नाम अपके भाइयोंको सुनाऊंगा, सभा के बीच में मैं तेरा भजन गाऊंगा। |

| 14 Since therefore the children share in flesh and blood, he himself likewise partook of the same things, that through death he might destroy the one who has the power of death, that is, the devil, | 14 മക്കൾ ജഡരക്തങ്ങളോടു കൂടിയവർ ആകകൊണ്ടു അവനും അവരെപ്പോലെ ജഡരക്തങ്ങളോടു കൂടിയവനായി മരണത്തിന്റെ അധികാരിയായ പിശാചിനെ | 14 इसलिथे जब कि लड़के मांस और लोहू के भागी हैं, तो वह आप भी उन के समान उन का सहभागी हो गया; ताकि मृत्यु के द्वारा उसे जिसे मृत्यु पर शक्ति मिली यी, अर्यात् शैतान को निकम्मा कर दे। |
| 15 and deliver all those who through fear of death were subject to lifelong slavery. | 15 തന്റെ മരണത്താൽ നീക്കി ജീവപര്യന്തം മരണഭീതിയാൽ അടിമകളായിരുന്നവരെ ഒക്കെയും വിടുവിച്ചു. | 15 और जितने मृत्यु के भय के मारे जीवन भर दासत्व में फंसे थे, उन्हें छुड़ा ले। |
| 16 For surely it is not angels that he helps, but he helps the offspring of Abraham. | 16 ദൂതന്മാരെ സംരക്ഷണചെയ്‍വാനല്ല അബ്രാഹാമിന്റെ സന്തതിയെ സംരക്ഷണ ചെയ്‍വാനത്രേ അവൻ വന്നതു. | 16 क्योंकि वह तो स्वर्गदूतोंको नहीं बरन इब्राहीम के वंश को संभालता है। |
| 17 Therefore he had to be made like his brothers in every respect, so that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in the service of God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people. | 17 അതുകൊണ്ടു ജനത്തിന്റെ പാപങ്ങൾക്കു പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം വരുത്തുവാൻ അവൻ കരുണയുള്ളവനും ദൈവകാര്യത്തിൽ വിശ്വസ്തമഹാപുരോഹിതനും ആകേണ്ടതിന്നു സകലത്തിലും തന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരോടു സദൃശനായിത്തീരുവാൻ ആവശ്യമായിരുന്നു. | 17 इस कारण उसको चाहिए या, कि सब बातोंमें अपके भाइयोंके समान बने; जिस से वह उन बातोंमें जो परमेश्वर से सम्बन्ध रखती हैं, एक दयालु और विश्वासयोग्य महाथाजक बने ताकि लोगोंके पापोंके लिथे प्रायश्चित्त करे। |
| 18 For because he himself has suffered when tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted. | 18 താൻ തന്നേ പരീക്ഷിതനായി കഷ്ടമനുഭവിച്ചിരിക്കയാൽ പരീക്ഷിക്കപ്പെടുന്നവർക്കു സഹായിപ്പാൻ കഴിവുള്ളവൻ ആകുന്നു. | 18 क्योंकि जब उस ने पक्कीझा की दशा में दुख उठाया, तो वह उन की भी सहाथता कर सकता है, जिन की पक्कीझा होती है।। |
