| 1 Therefore, while the promise of entering his rest still stands, let us fear lest any of you should seem to have failed to reach it. | 1 അവന്റെ സ്വസ്ഥതയിൽ പ്രവേശിപ്പാനുള്ള വാഗ്ദത്തം ശേഷിച്ചിരിക്കയാൽ നിങ്ങളിൽ ആർക്കെങ്കിലും അതു ലഭിക്കാതെപോയി എന്നു വരാതിരിപ്പാൻ നാം ഭയപ്പെടുക. | 1 इसलिथे जब कि उसके विश्रम में प्रवेश करने की प्रतिज्ञा अब तक है, तो हमें डरना चाहिए; ऐसा ने हो, कि तुम में से कोई जंग उस से रिहत जान पके। |
| 2 For good news came to us just as to them, but the message they heard did not benefit them, because they were not united by faith with those who listened. | 2 അവരെപ്പോലെ നാമും ഒരു സദ്വർത്തമാനം കേട്ടവർ ആകുന്നു; എങ്കിലും കേട്ടവരിൽ വിശ്വാസമായി പരിണമിക്കായ്കകൊണ്ടു കേട്ട വചനം അവർക്കു ഉപകാരമായി വന്നില്ല. | 2 क्योंकि हमें उन्हीं की नाई सुसमाचार सुनाया गया है, पर सुने हुए वचन से उन्हें कुछ लोय न हुआ; क्योंकि सुननेवालोंके मन में विश्वास के साय नहीं बैठा। |
| 3 For we who have believed enter that rest, as he has said, "As I swore in my wrath, 'They shall not enter my rest,'"although his works were finished from the foundation of the world. | 3 വിശ്വസിച്ചവരായ നാമല്ലോ സ്വസ്ഥതയിൽ പ്രവേശിക്കുന്നു; ലോകസ്ഥാപനത്തിങ്കൽ പ്രവൃത്തികൾ തീർന്നുപോയശേഷവും: “അവർ എന്റെ സ്വസ്ഥതയിൽ പ്രവേശിക്കയില്ല എന്നു ഞാൻ എന്റെ കോപത്തിൽ സത്യം ചെയ്തു” എന്നു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ. | 3 और हम जिन्होंने विश्वास किया है, उस विश्रम में प्रवेश करते हैं; जैसा उस ने कहा, कि मैं ने अपके क्रोध में शपय खाई, कि वे मेरे विश्रम में प्रवेश करने न पाएंगे, यद्यपि जगत की उत्पत्ति के समय से उसे काम हो चुके थे। |
| 4 For he has somewhere spoken of the seventh day in this way: "And God rested on the seventh day from all his works." | 4 ഏഴാം നാളിൽ ദൈവം തന്റെ സകല പ്രവൃത്തികളിൽനിന്നു നിവൃത്തനായി” എന്നു ഏഴാം നാളിനെക്കുറിച്ചു ഒരേടത്തു പറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു. | 4 क्योंकि सातवें दिन के विषय में उस ने कहीं योंकहा है, कि परमेश्वर ने सातवें दिन अपके सब कामोंको निपटा करके विश्रम किया। |
| 5 And again in this passage he said, "They shall not enter my rest." | 5 “എന്റെ സ്വസ്ഥതയിൽ അവർ പ്രവേശിക്കയില്ല” എന്നു ഇവിടെ പിന്നെയും അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു. | 5 और इस जगह फिर यह कहता है, कि वे मेरे विश्रम में प्रवेश न करने पाएंगे। |
| 6 Since therefore it remains for some to enter it, and those who formerly received the good news failed to enter because of disobedience, | 6 അതുകൊണ്ടു ചിലർ അതിൽ പ്രവേശിപ്പാൻ ഇട ശേഷിച്ചിരിക്കയാലും മുമ്പെ സദ്വർത്തമാനം കേട്ടവർ അനുസരണക്കേടുനിമിത്തം പ്രവേശിക്കാതെ പോകയാലും | 6 तो जब यह बात बाकी है कि कितने और हैं जो उस विश्रम में प्रवेश करें, और जिन्हें उसका सुसमाचार पहिले सुनाया गया, उन्होंने आज्ञा न मानने के कारण उस में प्रवेश न किया। |

| 8 For if Joshua had given them rest, God would not have spoken of another day later on. | 8 യോശുവ അവർക്കു സ്വസ്ഥത വരുത്തി എങ്കിൽ മറ്റൊരു ദിവസത്തെക്കുറിച്ചു പിന്നത്തേതിൽ കല്പിക്കയില്ലായിരുന്നു; | 8 और यदि यहोशू उन्हें विश्रम में प्रवेश कर लेता, तो उसके बाद दूसरे दिन की चर्चा न होती। |
| 9 So then, there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God, | 9 ആകയാൽ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ജനത്തിന്നു ഒരു ശബ്ബത്തനുഭവം ശേഷിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. | 9 सो जान लो कि परमेश्वर के लोगोंके लिथे सब्त का विश्रम बाकी है। |
| 10 for whoever has entered God's rest has also rested from his works as God did from his. | 10 ദൈവം തന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തികളിൽനിന്നു എന്നപോലെ അവന്റെ സ്വസ്ഥതയിൽ പ്രവേശിച്ചവൻ താനും തന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തികളിൽനിന്നു നിവൃത്തനായിത്തീർന്നു. | 10 क्योंकि जिस ने उसके विश्रम में प्रवेश किया है, उस ने भी परमेश्वर की नाई अपके कामोंको पूरा करके विश्रम किया है। |
| 11 Let us therefore strive to enter that rest, so that no one may fall by the same sort of disobedience. | 11 അതുകൊണ്ടു ആരും അനുസരണക്കേടിന്റെ സമദൃഷ്ടാന്തത്തിന്നൊത്തവണ്ണം വീഴാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നാം ആ സ്വസ്ഥതയിൽ പ്രവേശിപ്പാൻ ഉത്സാഹിക്ക. | 11 सो हम उस विश्रम में प्रवेश करने का प्रयत्न करें, ऐसा न हो, कि कोई जन उन की नाई आज्ञा न मानकर गिर पके। |
| 12 For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. | 12 ദൈവത്തിന്റെ വചനം ജീവനും ചൈതന്യവുമുള്ളതായി ഇരുവായ്ത്തലയുള്ള ഏതു വാളിനെക്കാളും മൂർച്ചയേറിയതും പ്രാണനെയും ആത്മാവിനെയും സന്ധിമജ്ജകളെയും വേറുവിടുവിക്കുംവരെ തുളെച്ചുചെല്ലുന്നതും ഹൃദയത്തിലെ ചിന്തനങ്ങളെയും ഭാവങ്ങളെയും വിവേചിക്കുന്നതും ആകുന്നു. | 12 क्योंकि परमेश्वर का वचन जीवित, और प्रबल, और हर एक दोधारी तलवार से भी बहुत चोखा है, और जीव, और आत्क़ा को, और गांठ गांठ, और गूदे गूदे को अलग करके, वार पार छेदता है; और मन की भावनाओं और विचारोंको जांचता है। |
| 13 And no creature is hidden from his sight, but all are naked and exposed to the eyes of him to whom we must give account. | 13 അവന്നു മറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്ന ഒരു സൃഷ്ടിയുമില്ല; സകലവും അവന്റെ കണ്ണിന്നു നഗ്നവും മലർന്നതുമായി കിടക്കുന്നു; അവനുമായിട്ടാകുന്നു നമുക്കു കാര്യമുള്ളതു. | 13 और सृष्टि की कोई वस्तु उस से छिपी नहीं है बरन जिस से हमें काम है, उस की आंखोंके साम्हने सब वस्तुएं खुली और बेपरद हैं।। |
| 14 Since then we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. | 14 ആകയാൽ ദൈവപുത്രനായ യേശു ആകാശത്തിൽകൂടി കടന്നുപോയോരു ശ്രേഷ്ഠമഹാപുരോഹിതനായി നമുക്കു ഉള്ളതുകൊണ്ടു നാം നമ്മുടെ സ്വീകാരം മറുകെപ്പിടിച്ചുകൊൾക. | 14 सो जब हमारा ऐसा बड़ा महाथाजक है, जो स्वर्गोंसे होकर गया है, अर्यात् परमेश्वर का पुत्र यीशु; तो आओ, हम अपके अंगीकार को दृढ़ता से यामें रहे। |
| 15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. | 15 നമുക്കുള്ള മഹാപുരോഹിതൻ നമ്മുടെ ബലഹീനതകളിൽ സഹതാപം കാണിപ്പാൻ കഴിയാത്തവനല്ല; പാപം ഒഴികെ സർവ്വത്തിലും നമുക്കു തുല്യമായി പരീക്ഷിക്കപ്പെട്ടവനത്രേ നമുക്കുള്ളതു. | 15 क्योंकि हमारा ऐसा महाथाजक नहीं, जो हमारी निर्बलताओं में हमारे साय दुखी न हो सके; बरन वह सब बातोंमें हमारी नाई परखा तो गया, तौभी निष्पाप निकला। |
| 16 Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. | 16 അതുകൊണ്ടു കരുണ ലഭിപ്പാനും തത്സമയത്തു സഹായത്തിന്നുള്ള കൃപ പ്രാപിപ്പാനുമായി നാം ധൈര്യത്തോടെ കൃപാസനത്തിന്നു അടുത്തു ചെല്ലുക. | 16 इसलिथे आओ, हम अनुग्रह के सिंहासन के निकट हियाव बान्धकर चलें, कि हम पर दया हो, और वह अनुग्रह पाएं, जो आवश्यकता के समय हमारी सहाथता करे।। |
