| 1 These are the inheritances that the people of Israel received in the land of Canaan, which Eleazar the priest and Joshua the son of Nun and the heads of the fathers' houses of the tribes of the people of Israel gave them to inherit. | 1 കനാൻദേശത്തു യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾക്കു അവകാശമായി ലഭിച്ച ദേശങ്ങൾ ആവിതു: പുരോഹിതനായ എലെയാസാരും നൂന്റെ മകനായ യോശുവയും യിസ്രായേൽഗോത്രപിതാക്കന്മാരിൽ തലവന്മാരും ഇവ അവർക്കു വിഭാഗിച്ചുകൊടുത്തു. | 1 जो जो भाग इस्राएलियोंने कनान देश में पाए, उन्हें एलीआजर याजक, और नून के पुत्र यहोशू, और इस्राएली गोत्रोंके पूर्वजोंके घरानोंके मुख्य मुख्य पुरूषोंने उनको दिया वे थे हैं। |
| 2 Their inheritance was by lot, just as the LORD had commanded by the hand of Moses for the nine and one-half tribes. | 2 യഹോവ മോശെമുഖാന്തരം കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ ഒമ്പതര ഗോത്രങ്ങൾക്കും ചീട്ടിട്ടായിരുന്നു അവകാശം ഭാഗിച്ചുകൊടുത്തതു. | 2 जो आज्ञा यहोवा ने मूसा के द्वारा साढ़े नौ गोत्रोंके लिथे दी यी, उसके अनुसार उनके भाग चिट्ठी डाल डालकर दिए गए। |
| 3 For Moses had given an inheritance to the two and one-half tribes beyond the Jordan, but to the Levites he gave no inheritance among them. | 3 രണ്ടര ഗോത്രങ്ങൾക്കു മോശെ യോർദ്ദാന്നക്കരെ അവകാശം കൊടുത്തിരുന്നു; ലേവ്യർക്കോ അവരുടെ ഇടയിൽ ഒരു അവകാശവും കൊടുത്തില്ല. | 3 मूसा ने तो अढ़ाई गोत्रोंके भाग यरदन पार दिए थे; परन्तु लेवियोंको उसने उनके बीच कोई भाग न दिया या। |
| 4 For the people of Joseph were two tribes, Manasseh and Ephraim. And no portion was given to the Levites in the land, but only cities to dwell in, with their pasturelands for their livestock and their substance. | 4 യോസേഫിന്റെ മക്കൾ മനശ്ശെ, എഫ്രയീം എന്നു രണ്ടു ഗോത്രം ആയിരുന്നു. ലേവ്യർക്കു പാർപ്പാൻ പട്ടണങ്ങളും അവരുടെ കന്നുകാലികൾക്കും മൃഗസമ്പത്തിന്നും വേണ്ടി പുല്പുറങ്ങളും അല്ലാതെ ദേശത്തിൽ ഓഹരിയൊന്നും കൊടുത്തില്ല. | 4 यूसुफ के वंश के तो दो गोत्र हो गए थे, अर्यात् मनश्शे और एप्रैम; और उस देश में लेवियोंको कुछ भाग न दिया गया, केवल रहने के नगर, और पशु आदि धन रखने को और चराइयां उनको मिलीं। |
| 5 The people of Israel did as the LORD commanded Moses; they allotted the land. | 5 യഹോവ മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ തന്നേ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾ അനുസരിച്ചു ദേശം വിഭാഗിച്ചു. | 5 जो आज्ञा यहोवा ने मूसा को दी यी उसके अनुसार इस्राएलियोंने किया; और उन्होंने देश को बांट लिया।। |
| 6 Then the people of Judah came to Joshua at Gilgal. And Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite said to him, "You know what the LORD said to Moses the man of God in Kadesh-barnea concerning you and me. | 6 അനന്തരം യെഹൂദാമക്കൾ ഗില്ഗാലിൽ യോശുവയുടെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നു; കെനിസ്യനായ യെഫുന്നെയുടെ മകൻ കാലേബ് അവനോടു പറഞ്ഞതു: യഹോവ എന്നെയും നിന്നെയും കുറിച്ചു ദൈവപുരുഷനായ മോശെയോടു കാദേശ് ബർന്നേയയിൽവെച്ചു പറഞ്ഞ കാര്യം നീ അറിയുന്നുവല്ലോ. | 6 तब यहूदी यहोशू के पास गिलगाल में आए; और कनजी यपुन्ने के पुत्र कालेब ने उस से कहा, तू जानता होगा कि यहोवा ने कादेशबर्ने में परमेश्वर के जन मूसा से मेरे और तेरे विषय में क्या कहा या। |
| 7 I was forty years old when Moses the servant of the LORD sent me from Kadesh-barnea to spy out the land, and I brought him word again as it was in my heart. | 7 യഹോവയുടെ ദാസനായ മോശെ കാദേശ്ബർന്നേയയിൽനിന്നു ദേശത്തെ ഒറ്റുനോക്കുവാൻ എന്നെ അയച്ചപ്പോൾ എനിക്കു നാല്പതു വയസ്സായിരുന്നു; ഞാൻ വന്നു എന്റെ മനോബോധപ്രകാരം അവനോടു മറുപടി പറഞ്ഞു. | 7 जब यहोवा के दास मूसा ने मुझे इस देश का भेद लेने के लिथे कादेशबर्ने से भेजा या तब मैं चालीस वर्ष का या; और मैं सच्चे मन से उसके पास सन्देश ले आया। |
| 8 But my brothers who went up with me made the heart of the people melt; yet I wholly followed the LORD my God. | 8 എന്നോടുകൂടെ പോന്നിരുന്ന സഹോദരന്മാർ ജനത്തിന്റെ ഹൃദയം ഉരുകുമാറാക്കി; ഞാനോ എന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയോടു പൂർണ്ണമായി പറ്റിനിന്നു. | 8 और मेरे सायी जो मेरे संग गए थे उन्होंने तो प्रजा के लोगोंको निराश कर दिया, परन्तु मैं ने अपके परमेश्वर यहोवा की पूरी रीति से बात मानी। |
| 9 And Moses swore on that day, saying, 'Surely the land on which your foot has trodden shall be an inheritance for you and your children forever, because you have wholly followed the LORD my God.' | 9 നീ എന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയോടു പൂർണ്ണമായി പറ്റിനിന്നതുകൊണ്ടു നീ കാൽവെച്ച ദേശം നിനക്കും നിന്റെ മക്കൾക്കും എന്നേക്കും അവകാശമായിരിക്കും എന്നു മോശെ അന്നു സത്യംചെയ്തു പറഞ്ഞു. | 9 तब उस दिन मूसा ने शपय खाकर मुझ से कहा, तू ने पूरी रीति से मेरे परमेश्वर यहोवा की बातोंका अनुकरण किया है, इस कारण नि:सन्देह जिस भूमि पर तू अपके पांव धर आया है वह सदा के लिथे तेरा और तेरे वंश का भाग होगी। |
| 10 And now, behold, the LORD has kept me alive, just as he said, these forty-five years since the time that the LORD spoke this word to Moses, while Israel walked in the wilderness. And now, behold, I am this day eighty-five years old. | 10 മരുഭൂമിയിൽ സഞ്ചരിച്ച കാലത്തു യഹോവ മോശെയോടു ഈ വാക്കു കല്പിച്ചതു മുതൽ ഈ നാല്പത്തഞ്ചു സംവത്സരത്തോളവും എന്നെ ഇതാ, താൻ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിരുന്നതു പോലെ ജീവനോടെ വെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; ഇപ്പോൾ എനിക്കു എണ്പത്തഞ്ചു വയസ്സായി. | 10 और अब देख, जब से यहोवा ने मूसा से यह वचन कहा या तब से पैतालीस वर्ष हो चुके हैं, जिन में इस्राएली जंगल में घूमते फिरते रहे; उन में यहोवा ने अपके कहने के अनुसार मुझे जीवित रखा है; और अब मैं पचासी वर्ष का हूं। |
| 11 I am still as strong today as I was in the day that Moses sent me; my strength now is as my strength was then, for war and for going and coming. | 11 മോശെ എന്നെ അയച്ച നാളിലെപ്പോലെ ഇന്നും എനിക്കു ആരോഗ്യം ഉണ്ടു; പടവെട്ടുവാനും പോകയും വരികയും ചെയ്‍വാനും എന്റെ ആരോഗ്യം അന്നത്തെപ്പോലെതന്നെ ഇന്നും ഇരിക്കുന്നു. | 11 जितना बल मूसा के भेजने के दिन मुझ में या उतना बल अभी तक मुझ में है; युद्ध करने, वा भीतर बाहर आने जाने के लिथे जितनी उस समय मुझ मे सामर्य्य यी उतनी ही अब भी मुझ में सामर्य्य है। |
| 12 So now give me this hill country of which the LORD spoke on that day, for you heard on that day how the Anakim were there, with great fortified cities. It may be that the LORD will be with me, and I shall drive them out just as the LORD said." | 12 ആകയാൽ യഹോവ അന്നു കല്പിച്ച ഈ മല ഇപ്പോൾ എനിക്കു തരിക; അനാക്യർ അവിടെ ഉണ്ടെന്നും പട്ടണങ്ങൾ വലിപ്പവും ഉറപ്പും ഉള്ളവ എന്നും നീ അന്നു കേട്ടിട്ടുണ്ടല്ലോ; യഹോവ എന്നോടുകൂടെ ഉണ്ടെങ്കിൽ താൻ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതുപോലെ ഞാൻ അവരെ ഓടിച്ചുകളയും. | 12 इसलिथे अब वह पहाड़ी मुझे दे जिसकी चर्चा यहोवा ने उस दिन की यी; तू ने तो उस दिन सुना होगा कि उस में अनाकवंशी रहते हैं, और बड़े बड़े गढ़वाले नगर भी हैं; परन्तु क्या जाने सम्भव है कि यहोवा मेरे संग रहे, और उसके कहने के अनुसार मैं उन्हें उनके देश से निकाल दूं। |
| 13 Then Joshua blessed him, and he gave Hebron to Caleb the son of Jephunneh for an inheritance. | 13 അപ്പോൾ യോശുവ അവനെ അനുഗ്രഹിച്ചു; ഹെബ്രോൻമല യെഫുന്നെയുടെ മകനായ കാലേബിന്നു അവകാശമായി കൊടുത്തു. | 13 तब यहोशू ने उसको आशीर्वाद दिया; और हेब्रोन को यपुन्ने के पुत्र कालेब का भाग कर दिया। |
| 14 Therefore Hebron became the inheritance of Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite to this day, because he wholly followed the LORD, the God of Israel. | 14 അങ്ങനെ ഹെബ്രോൻ ഇന്നുവരെ കെനിസ്യനായ യെഫുന്നെയുടെ മകൻ കാലേബിന്നു അവകാശമായിരിക്കുന്നു; അവൻ യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയെ പൂർണ്ണമായി പറ്റിനിന്നതുകൊണ്ടു തന്നേ. | 14 इस कारण हेब्रोन कनजी यपुन्ने के पुत्र कालेब का भाग आज तक बना है, क्योंकि वह इस्राएल के परमेश्वर यहोवा का पूरी रीति से अनुगामी या। |
| 15 Now the name of Hebron formerly was Kiriath-arba. (Arba was the greatest man among the Anakim.) And the land had rest from war. | 15 ഹെബ്രോന്നു പണ്ടു കിർയ്യത്ത്-അർബ്ബാ എന്നു പേരായിരുന്നു; അർബ്ബാ എന്നവൻ അനാക്യരിൽ വെച്ചു അതിമഹാൻ ആയിരുന്നു. അങ്ങനെ യുദ്ധം തീർന്നു ദേശത്തിന്നു സ്വസ്ഥത വന്നു. | 15 पहिले समय में तो हेब्रोन का नाम किर्यतर्बा या; वह अर्बा अनाकियोंमें सब से बड़ा पुरूष या। और उस देश को लड़ाई से शान्ति मिली।। |
