| 1 Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children. | 1 ആകയാൽ പ്രിയമക്കൾ എന്നപോലെ ദൈവത്തെ അനുകരിപ്പിൻ. | 1 इसलिथे प्रिय, बालकोंकी नाई परमेश्वर के सदृश बनो। |
| 2 And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God. | 2 ക്രിസ്തുവും നിങ്ങളെ സ്നേഹിച്ചു നമുക്കു വേണ്ടി തന്നെത്താൻ ദൈവത്തിന്നു സൌരഭ്യവാസനയായ വഴിപാടും യാഗവുമായി അർപ്പിച്ചതുപോലെ സ്നേഹത്തിൽ നടപ്പിൻ. | 2 और प्रेम में चलो; जैसे मसीह ने भी तुम से प्रेम किया; और हमारे लिथे अपके आप को सुखदायक सुगन्ध के लिथे परमेश्वर के आगे भेंट करके बलिदान कर दिया। |
| 3 But sexual immorality and all impurity or covetousness must not even be named among you, as is proper among saints. | 3 ദുർന്നടപ്പും യാതൊരു അശുദ്ധിയും അത്യാഗ്രഹവും നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയിൽ പേർ പറകപോലും അരുതു; | 3 और जैसा पवित्र लागोंके योग्य है, वैसा तु में व्यभिचार, और किसी प्रकार अशुद्ध काम, या लोभ की चर्चा तक न हो। |
| 4 Let there be no filthiness nor foolish talk nor crude joking, which are out of place, but instead let there be thanksgiving. | 4 അങ്ങനെ ആകുന്നു വിശുദ്ധന്മാർക്കു ഉചിതം. ചീത്തത്തരം, പൊട്ടച്ചൊൽ, കളിവാക്കു ഇങ്ങനെ ചേർച്ചയല്ലാത്തവ ഒന്നും അരുതു; സ്തോത്രമത്രേ വേണ്ടതു. | 4 और न निर्लज्ज़ता, न मूढ़ता की बातचीत की, न ठट्ठे की, क्योंकि थे बातें सोहती नहीं, बरन धन्यवाद ही सुना जाएं। |
| 5 For you may be sure of this, that everyone who is sexually immoral or impure, or who is covetous (that is, an idolater), has no inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God. | 5 ദുർന്നടപ്പുകാരൻ, അശുദ്ധൻ, വിഗ്രഹാരാധിയായ ദ്രവ്യാഗ്രഹി ഇവർക്കു ആർക്കും ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെയും ദൈവത്തിന്റെയും രാജ്യത്തിൽ അവകാശമില്ല എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ അറിയുന്നുവല്ലോ. | 5 क्योंकि तुम यह जानते हो, कि किसी व्यभिचारी, या अशुद्ध जन, या लोभी मनुष्य की, जो मूरत पूजनेवाले के बराबर है, मसीह और परमेश्वर के राज्य में मीरास नहीं। |
| 6 Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience. | 6 വ്യർത്ഥവാക്കുകളാൽ ആരും നിങ്ങളെ ചതിക്കരുതു; ഈ വക നിമിത്തമല്ലോ ദൈവകോപം അനുസരണം കെട്ടവരുടെ മേൽ വരുന്നു. | 6 कोई तुम्हें व्यर्य बातोंसे धोखा न दे; क्योंकि इन ही कामोंके कारण परमेश्वर का क्रोध आज्ञा ने माननेवालोंपर भड़कता है। |
| 7 Therefore do not associate with them; | 7 നിങ്ങൾ അവരുടെ കൂട്ടാളികൾ ആകരുതു. | 7 इसलिथे तुम उन के सहभागी न हो। |
| 8 for at one time you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light | 8 മുമ്പെ നിങ്ങൾ ഇരുളായിരുന്നു; ഇപ്പോഴോ കർത്താവിൽ വെളിച്ചം ആകുന്നു. | 8 क्योंकि तुम तो पहले अन्धकार थे परन्तु अब प्रभु में ज्योति हो, सो ज्योति की सन्तान की नाई चलो। |

| 10 and try to discern what is pleasing to the Lord. | 10 സകല സല്ഗുണവും നീതിയും സത്യവുമല്ലോ വെളിച്ചത്തിന്റെ ഫലം. | 10 और यह परखो, कि प्रभु को क्या भाता है |

| 13 But when anything is exposed by the light, it becomes visible, | 13 അവയെ ശാസിക്കുമ്പോഴോ സകലത്തെയും കുറിച്ചു വെളിച്ചത്താൽ ബോധം വരും; ബോധം വരുന്നതെല്ലാം വെളിച്ചംപോലെ തെളിവല്ലോ. | 13 पर जितने कामोंपर उलाहना दिया जाता है वे सब ज्योति से प्रगट होते हैं, क्योंकि जो सब कुछ को प्रगट करता है, वह ज्योंति है। |
| 14 for anything that becomes visible is light. | 16 making the best use of the time, because the days are evil. | 16 ഇതു ദുഷ്കാലമാകയാൽ സമയം തക്കത്തിൽ ഉപയോഗിച്ചുകൊൾവിൻ. | 16 और अवसर को बहुमोल समझो, क्योंकि दिन बुरे हैं। |
| 17 Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is. | 17 ബുദ്ധിഹീനരാകാതെ കർത്താവിന്റെ ഇഷ്ടം ഇന്നതെന്നു ഗ്രഹിച്ചുകൊൾവിൻ. | 17 इस कारण निर्बुद्धि न हो, पर ध्यान से समझो, कि प्रभु की इच्छा क्या है |
| 18 And do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery, but be filled with the Spirit, | 18 വീഞ്ഞു കുടിച്ചു മത്തരാകാരുതു; അതിനാൽ ദുർന്നടപ്പു ഉണ്ടാകുമല്ലോ. ആത്മാവു നിറഞ്ഞവരായി സങ്കീർത്തനങ്ങളാലും | 18 और दाखरस से मतवाले न बनो, क्योंकि इस से लुचपर होता है, पर आत्क़ा से परिपूर्ण होते जाओ। |
| 19 addressing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody to the Lord with all your heart, | 19 സ്തുതികളാലും ആത്മിക ഗീതങ്ങളാലും തമ്മിൽ സംസാരിച്ചും നിങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയത്തിൽ കർത്താവിന്നു പാടിയും കീർത്തനം ചെയ്തും | 19 और आपस में भजन और स्तुतिगान और आत्क़िक गीत गाया करो, और अपके अपके मन में प्रभु के साम्हने गाते और कीर्तन करते रहो। |
| 20 giving thanks always and for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, | 20 നമ്മുടെ കർത്താവായ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ നാമത്തിൽ ദൈവവും പിതാവുമായവന്നു എല്ലായ്പോഴും എല്ലാറ്റിന്നു വേണ്ടിയും സ്തോത്രം ചെയ്തുകൊൾവിൻ. | 20 और सदा सब बातोंके लिथे हमारे प्रभु यीशु मसीह के नाम से परमेश्वर पिता का धन्यवाद करते रहो। |
| 21 submitting to one another out of reverence for Christ. | 21 ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ ഭയത്തിൽ അന്യോന്യം കീഴ്പെട്ടിരിപ്പിൻ. | 21 और मसीह के भय से एक दूसरे के आधीन रहो।। |
| 22 Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. | 22 ഭാര്യമാരേ, കർത്താവിന്നു എന്നപോലെ സ്വന്ത ഭർത്താക്കന്മാർക്കു കീഴടങ്ങുവിൻ. | 22 हे पत्नियों, अपके अपके पति के ऐसे अधीन रहो, जैसे प्रभु के। |
| 23 For the husband is the head of the wife even as Christ is the head of the church, his body, and is himself its Savior. | 23 ക്രിസ്തു ശരീരത്തിന്റെ രക്ഷിതാവായി സഭെക്കു തലയാകുന്നതുപോലെ ഭർത്താവു ഭാര്യക്കു തലയാകുന്നു. | 23 क्योंकि पति पत्नी का सिर है जैसे कि मसीह कलीसिया का सिर है; और आप ही देह का उद्धारकर्ता है। |

| 25 Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her, | 25 ഭർത്താക്കന്മാരേ, ക്രിസ്തുവും സഭയെ സ്നേഹിച്ചതുപോലെ നിങ്ങളുടെ ഭാര്യമാരെ സ്നേഹിപ്പിൻ. | 25 हे पतियों, अपक्की अपक्की पत्नी से प्रेम रखो, जैसा मसीह ने भी कलीसिया से प्रेम करके अपके आप को उसके लिथे दे दिया। |
| 26 that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, | 26 അവൻ അവളെ വചനത്തോടുകൂടിയ ജലസ്നാനത്താൽ വെടിപ്പാക്കി വിശുദ്ധീകരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നും | 26 कि उस को वचन के द्वारा जल के स्नान से शुद्ध करके पवित्र बनाए। |
| 27 so that he might present the church to himself in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, that she might be holy and without blemish. | 27 കറ, ചുളുക്കം മുതലായതു ഒന്നും ഇല്ലാതെ സഭയെ ശുദ്ധയും നിഷ്കളങ്കയുമായി തനിക്കു തന്നേ തേജസ്സോടെ മുന്നിറുത്തേണ്ടതിന്നും തന്നെത്താൻ അവൾക്കു വേണ്ടി ഏല്പിച്ചുകൊടുത്തു. | 27 और उसे एक ऐसी तेजस्वी कलीसिया बनाकर अपके मास खड़ी करे, जिस में न कलंक, न र्फुरी, न कोई ऐसी वस्तु हो, बरन पवित्र और निर्दोष हो। |
| 28 In the same way husbands should love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. | 28 അവ്വണ്ണം ഭർത്താക്കന്മാരും തങ്ങളുടെ ഭാര്യമാരെ സ്വന്ത ശരീരങ്ങളെപ്പോലെ സ്നേഹിക്കേണ്ടതാകുന്നു. ഭാര്യയെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നവൻ തന്നെത്താൻ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നു. | 28 इसी प्रकार उचित है, कि पति अपक्की अपक्की पत्नी से प्रेम रखता है, वह अपके आप से प्रेम रखता है। |
| 29 For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as Christ does the church, | 29 ആരും തന്റെ ജഡത്തെ ഒരുനാളും പകെച്ചിട്ടില്ലല്ലോ; ക്രിസ്തുവും സഭയെ ചെയ്യുന്നതുപോലെ അതിനെ പോറ്റി പുലർത്തുകയത്രേ ചെയ്യുന്നതു. | 29 क्योंकि किसी ने कभी अपके शरीर से बैर नहीं रखा बरन उसका पालन-पोषण करता है, जैसा मसीह भी कलीसिया के साय करता है |
| 30 because we are members of his body. | 30 നാം അവന്റെ ശരീരത്തിന്റെ അവയവങ്ങളല്ലോ. | 30 इसलिथे कि हम उस की देह के अंग हैं। |
| 31 "Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh." | 31 അതു നിമിത്തം ഒരു മനുഷ്യൻ അപ്പനെയും അമ്മയെയും വിട്ടു ഭാര്യയോടു പറ്റിച്ചേരും; ഇരുവരും ഒരു ദേഹമായിത്തീരും. | 31 इस कारण मनुष्य माता पिता को छोड़कर अपक्की पत्नी से मिला रहेगा, और वे दोनोंएक तन होंगे। |
| 32 This mystery is profound, and I am saying that it refers to Christ and the church. | 32 ഈ മർമ്മം വലിയതു; ഞാൻ ക്രിസ്തുവിനെയും സഭയെയും ഉദ്ദേശിച്ചത്രേ പറയുന്നതു. എന്നാൽ നിങ്ങളും അങ്ങനെ തന്നേ ഓരോരുത്തൻ താന്താന്റെ ഭാര്യയെ തന്നെപ്പോലെ തന്നേ സ്നേഹിക്കേണം. ഭാര്യയോ ഭർത്താവിനെ ഭയപ്പെടേണ്ടതാകുന്നു. | 32 यह भेद तो बड़ा है; पर मैं मसीह और कलीसिया के विषय में कहता हूं। |
| 33 However, let each one of you love his wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband. | 33 पर तुम में से हर एक अपक्की पत्नी से अपके समान प्रेम रखे, और पत्नी भी अपके पति का भय माने।। |
