| 1 Now the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith by devoting themselves to deceitful spirits and teachings of demons, | 1 എന്നാൽ ഭാവികാലത്തു ചിലർ വ്യാജാത്മാക്കളെയും ഭൂതങ്ങളുടെ ഉപദേശങ്ങളെയും ആശ്രയിച്ചു ഭോഷ്കു പറയുന്നവരുടെ കപടത്താൽ വിശ്വാസം ത്യജിക്കും എന്നു ആത്മാവു തെളിവായി പറയുന്നു. | 1 परन्तु आत्क़ा स्पष्टता से कहता है, कि आनेवाले समयोंमें कितने लोग भरमानेवाली आत्क़ाओं, और दुष्टात्क़ाओं की शिझाओं पर मन लगाकर विश्वास से बहक जाएंगे। |
| 2 through the insincerity of liars whose consciences are seared, | 2 അവർ സ്വന്തമനസ്സാക്ഷിയിൽ ചൂടുവെച്ചവരായി | 2 यह उन फूठे मनुष्योंके कपट के कारण होगा, जिन का विवेक मानोंजलते हुए लोहे से दागा गया है। |
| 3 who forbid marriage and require abstinence from foods that God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth. | 3 വിവാഹം വിലക്കുകയും സത്യത്തെ ഗ്രഹിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന വിശ്വാസികൾ സ്തോത്രത്തോടെ അനുഭവിപ്പാൻ ദൈവം സൃഷ്ടിച്ച ഭോജ്യങ്ങളെ വർജ്ജിക്കേണം എന്നു കല്പിക്കയും ചെയ്യും. | 3 जो ब्याह करने से रोकेंगे, और भोजन की कुछ वस्तुओं से पके रहने की आज्ञा देंगे; जिन्हें परमेश्वर ने इसलिथे सृजा कि विश्वासी, और सत्य के पहिचाननेवाले उन्हें धन्यवाद के साय खाएं। |
| 4 For everything created by God is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving, | 4 എന്നാൽ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ സൃഷ്ടി എല്ലാം നല്ലതു; സ്തോത്രത്തോടെ അനുഭവിക്കുന്നു എങ്കിൽ ഒന്നും വർജ്ജിക്കേണ്ടതല്ല; | 4 क्योंकि परमेश्वर की सृजी हुई हर एक वस्तु अच्छी है: और कोई वस्तु अस्वीकार करने के योग्य नहीं; पर यह कि धन्यवाद के साय खाई जाए। |
| 5 for it is made holy by the word of God and prayer. | 5 ദൈവവചനത്താലും പ്രാർത്ഥനയാലും വിശുദ്ധീകരിക്കപ്പെടുന്നുവല്ലോ. | 5 क्योंकि परमेश्वर के वचन और प्रार्यना से शुद्ध हो जाती है।। |
| 6 If you put these things before the brothers, you will be a good servant of Christ Jesus, being trained in the words of the faith and of the good doctrine that you have followed. | 6 ഇതു സഹോദരന്മാരേ ഗ്രഹിപ്പിച്ചാൽ നീ അനുസരിച്ച വിശ്വാസത്തിന്റെയും സദുപദേശത്തിന്റെയും വചനത്താൽ പോഷണം ലഭിച്ചു ക്രിസ്തുയേശുവിന്നു നല്ല ശുശ്രൂഷകൻ ആകും. | 6 यदि तू भाइयोंको इन बातोंकी सुधि दिलाता रहेगा, तो मसीह यीशु का अच्छा सेवक ठहरेगा: और विश्वास और उस अच्छे उपकेश की बातोंसे, जा तू मानता आया है, तेरा पालन-पोषण होता रहेगा। |
| 7 Have nothing to do with irreverent, silly myths. Rather train yourself for godliness; | 7 ഭക്തിവിരുദ്ധമായ കിഴവിക്കഥകളെ ഒഴിച്ചു ദൈവഭക്തിക്കു തക്കവണ്ണം അഭ്യാസം ചെയ്ക. | 7 पर अशुद्ध और बूढिय़ोंकी सी कहानियोंसे अलग रह; और भक्ति के लिथे अपना साधन कर। |
| 8 for while bodily training is of some value, godliness is of value in every way, as it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come. | 8 ശരീരാഭ്യാസം അല്പപ്രയോജനമുള്ളതത്രേ; ദൈവഭക്തിയോ ഇപ്പോഴത്തെ ജീവന്റെയും വരുവാനിരിക്കുന്നതിന്റെയും വാഗ്ദത്തമുള്ളതാകയാൽ സകലത്തിന്നും പ്രയോജനകരമാകുന്നു. | 8 क्योंकि देह ही साधना से कम लाभ होता है, पर भक्ति सब बातोंके लिथे लाभदायक है, क्योंकि इस समय के और आनेवाले जीवन की भी प्रतिज्ञा इसी के लिथे है। |
| 9 The saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance. | 9 ഇതു വിശ്വാസ്യവും എല്ലാവരും അംഗീകരിപ്പാൻ യോഗ്യവുമായ വചനം. | 9 और यह बात सच और हर प्रकार से मानने के योग्य है। |
| 10 For to this end we toil and strive, because we have our hope set on the living God, who is the Savior of all people, especially of those who believe. | 10 അതിന്നായിട്ടു തന്നേ നാം സകലമനുഷ്യരുടെയും പ്രത്യേകം വിശ്വസികളുടെയും രക്ഷിതാവായ ജീവനുള്ള ദൈവത്തിൽ ആശവെച്ചു അദ്ധ്വാനിച്ചും പോരാടിയും വരുന്നു. | 10 क्योंकि हम परिश्र्म और यत्न इसी लिथे करते हैं, कि हमारी आशा उस जीवते परमेश्वर पर है; जो सब मनुष्योंका, और निज करके विश्वासियोंका उद्धारकर्ता है। |
| 11 Command and teach these things. | 11 ഇതു നീ ആജ്ഞാപിക്കയും ഉപദേശിക്കയും ചെയ്ക. | 11 इन बातोंकी आज्ञा कर, और सिखाता रह। |
| 12 Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity. | 12 ആരും നിന്റെ യൌവനം തുച്ഛീകരിക്കരുതു; വാക്കിലും നടപ്പിലും സ്നേഹത്തിലും വിശ്വാസത്തിലും നിർമ്മലതയിലും വിശ്വാസികൾക്കു മാതൃകയായിരിക്ക. | 12 कोई तेरी जवानी को तुच्छ न समझने पाए; पर वचन, और चाल चलन, और प्रेम, और विश्वास, और पवित्रता में विश्वासियोंके लिथे आदर्श बन जा। |
| 13 Until I come, devote yourself to the public reading of Scripture, to exhortation, to teaching. | 13 ഞാൻ വരുവോളം വായന, പ്രബോധനം, ഉപദേശം എന്നിവയിൽ ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചിരിക്ക. | 13 जब तक मैं न आऊं, तब तक पढ़ने और उपकेश और सिखाने में लौलीन रह। |
| 14 Do not neglect the gift you have, which was given you by prophecy when the council of elders laid their hands on you. | 14 മൂപ്പന്മാരുടെ കൈവെപ്പോടുകൂടെ പ്രവചനത്താൽ നിനക്കു ലഭിച്ചതായി നിന്നിലുള്ള കൃപാവരം ഉപേക്ഷയായി വിചാരിക്കാതെ | 14 उस वरदान से जो तुझ में है, और भविष्यद्वाणी के द्वारा प्राचीनोंके हाथ रखते समय तुझे मिला या, निश्चिन्त न रह। |
| 15 Practice these things, devote yourself to them, so that all may see your progress. | 15 നിന്റെ അഭിവൃദ്ധി എല്ലാവർക്കും പ്രസിദ്ധമായിത്തീരേണ്ടതിന്നു ഇതു കരുതുക, ഇതിൽ തന്നെ ഇരുന്നുകൊൾക. | 15 उन बातोंको सोचता रह, ताकि तेरी उन्नति सब पर प्रगट हो। अपक्की और अपके उपकेश की चौकसी रख। |
| 16 Keep a close watch on yourself and on the teaching. Persist in this, for by so doing you will save both yourself and your hearers. | 16 നിന്നെത്തന്നേയും ഉപദേശത്തെയും സൂക്ഷിച്ചുകൊൾക; ഇതിൽ ഉറെച്ചുനിൽക്ക; അങ്ങനെ ചെയ്താൽ നീ നിന്നെയും നിന്റെ പ്രസംഗം കേൾക്കുന്നവരെയും രക്ഷിക്കും. | 16 इन बातोंपर स्यिर रह, क्योंकि यदि ऐसा करता रहेगा, तो तू अपके, और अपके सुननेवालोंके लिथे भी उद्धार का कारण होगा।। |
